This Advanced Segmentectomy workshop aims to provide a theoretical and practical foundation for ANZCTS surgeons who already perform VATS Lobectomy procedures and wish to expand their knowledge in Advanced Segmentectomy techniques.
This educational program is designed for Fellows and Consultants looking to advance their knowledge and skill of Advanced VATS techniques.
With a specific focus on VATS Segmentectomy, participants will engage in discussions regarding definitions, benefits, instrumentation, equipment, positioning, oncological efficacy and surgical technique.
The visiting delegates will have the opportunity to discuss in detail the anatomy and physiology, tips & tricks specific to the technique described and performed by the course facilitators.
