The latest Queensland Oesophago-Gastric Cancer Collaborative (QOGCC) report has been released on behalf of the Queensland Cancer Control Safety and Quality Partnership (The Partnership).

This new report provides a comprehensive analysis of oesophagogastric cancer processes of care, outcomes of surgical management and comparison of all Queensland hospitals by surgical volume groups and AIHW peer groups.

This report follows on from the Gastrectomy and Oesophagectomy in Queensland 2012 report, which outlined recommendations for the management of oesophagogastric cancer.

The Clinical Research Facility, Princess Alexandrea Hospital wish to thank Morgan Windsor, Christopher Cole (Christopher is an ANZSCTS member) and Professor David Theile AO for reviewing the Index and providing valuable comments.

If there are other state health departments (or even from overseas) carrying out such work, please send Nick Danes the contacts.
