From 1 March 2023, the Australian Government is making changes to modernise Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) funded thoracic surgery services to ensure they reflect contemporary clinical practice. The changes are a result of the MBS Review Taskforce recommendations following extensive consultation with stakeholders.
