I wish to advise that a distinguished member of the ANZSCTS, Julie Ann Mundy was awarded the Australia Day Honours ‐ Medal (AM) of the Order of Australia in the General Division (2024).
On behalf of the Society we have formally written to Julie expressing our congratulations on this achievement for her service to Cardiothoracic surgery and professional associations.
Her tireless work in representing our craft group richly deserves the public recognition she has received. It is a testament of the excellent clinical and administrative work she has done over the years.
