In conjunction with the Research, Audit and Academic Surgery (RAAS) Division of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, ANZSCTS has established a fund in Patrick Pritzwald-Stegmann’s honour. It will be called the Dr Patrick Pritzwald-Stegmann Cardiothoracic Young Achievers Award, and the first recipient will be proudly announced at the ATCSA 2017 meeting in Melbourne later this year.
The Corpus has been established in perpetuity through donations from colleagues of Dr Pritzwald-Stegmann. The Award will support young Cardiac and Thoracic trainees to facilitate continuing medical education, research and training participation which has an academic affiliation. The ANZSCTS will be responsible for administering the Award including eligibility criteria, and choosing the recipient.
Donations to the Corpus will be processed through the RACS Foundation for Surgery. You may donate to the fund by using this form.
