AANZHPBA ASM Fluorescence Guided Surgery

Australia (Brisbane) is the host for the International Society of Fluorescence-Guided Surgery annual meeting this year. ANZSCTS member Gavin Wright has invited Professor Kim Hyun Koo from Seoul Korea. As well as being one of the world’s top robotic and single port robotic thoracic surgeons, he has innovated in using fluorescent agents to define tumour and segment margins. Gavin will also be speaking on the fluorescence in thoracic surgery generally and our clinical trials of a tumour activated fluorophore for cancer identification during minimally invasive surgery.
